V Gallery featuring Marlene McCarty for Rodarte
The people at V Magazine, has done it again with the launch of V Gallery and the first in a series of exclusive artist projects. This fall, in response to Rodarte’s recent collection, artist Marlene McCarty created a visual essay in four parts: Absorption, Reflection, Inversion, Progression. Roadsworth Pedestrian Street Art
Street art always has a place in my heart, my good friend Leo sent this over to me and thought this might inspire you creative folks as it did for me.
Roadsworth began painting the streets of Montreal in the fall of 2001. Initially motivated by a desire for more bike paths in the city and a questioning of “car culture” in general, he continued to develop a language around street markings and other elements of the urban landscape using a primarily stencil based technique.
