G-STAR RAW – CORRECT LINE
A completely new capsule collection, the Correct Line, will debut in January 2009. This city chic collection is a range of tailored styles for both men and women offering pantaloons, blazer jackets, trench coats, and dress shirts for every occasion as well as beautiful and stylish coats, leather jackets, dresses, classic skirts and ultra feminine tops. Careful attention is paid to the fabrics and textiles, resulting in a collection that uses wool, cashmere, silk, leather and, naturally, high quality cotton.
G-Star’s intention with the Correct Line is offering its consumer the possibility to dress up and down according to the denim worn; an extreme vintage jean topped with a neat shirt and classical blazer or a raw denim coat paired with a woolen pantaloon are unexpected style concepts that are characteristic for the brand’s new line. Launched as a separate line within the brand’s offer and recognizable by its own logo – a pollard willow – Correct Line will sit alongside the regular G-Star offer and is slightly higher positioned. All products and hangtags are fitted with a pollard willow embellishment. General G-Star branding has been kept to a minimum or is applied in tone-on-tone colours.
