V Gallery featuring Marlene McCarty for Rodarte
The people at V Magazine, has done it again with the launch of V Gallery and the first in a series of exclusive artist projects. This fall, in response to Rodarte’s recent collection, artist Marlene McCarty created a visual essay in four parts: Absorption, Reflection, Inversion, Progression. The drawings show supermodel Anja Rubik in Rodarte’s style of intricate, sheer-see-through dresses mixed with McCarthy’s primeval precision. The drawings are done in ballpoint pen and graphite pencil and is commissioned by curator Dominic Sidhu.
