ACCESSORIES: Vivienne Tam x HP Limited Edition Mini Notebook
Ok, so we all know Apple is notorious in the laptop game.. but HP is definitely stepping its game up with its newest collabo with world renowned fashion designer, Vivienne Tam. During fashion week, the two unveiled a limited edition PC wide screen notebook that is 10″ in size and can be well mistaken for a very fashionable hand clutch bag! This is such a fashionista’s ultimate accessory!
Vivienne Tam stated:
When I was approached by HP to create a special edition notebook, I could see the design in my head instantly. The notebook is a true reflection of the needs of a modern woman who cares about fashion but is also passionate about her technology. I wanted to create a notebook that would appeal to women of all ages, ethnicities and income levels across the globe.
The peony design that Vivienne Tam picked embodies her Asian heritage. HP quoted,
The peony design features a unique blend of Asian and Western cultures, antiquity and modern style, technology and fashion. It was inspired by Tam’s “China Chic” style, which is recognized from the runways in Milan to the Olympics in Beijing and represents her personal mantra to live well and be beautiful.
The peony design is carried inside the notebook even all the way under the keypad! It also comes with an embroidered storage sleeve to protect the notebook’s exterior when it’s being carried as a clutch! I am extremely amazed on how the notebook computer is so small yet so stylish! This might be the women’s version of the Macbook Air!
So, when will this be available to the public? HP expects to debut it to the public early next year. No word yet as far as how much it will cost.
